The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has launched a web site to help individuals learn how to avoid cybercrime.  An article appeared in USA Today on January 10, 2006 (http://www.usatoday.com/money/perfi/general/2006-01-10-ftc-usat_x.htm) discussing the site.

The site is located at http://onguardonline.gov/index.html and contains all kinds of information.  I know that it will be useful to me in educating my friends and useful in a course I am developing to teach locally.  It includes excellent links and a list of software that could be used to help fend off such issues as SPAM and spyware.
